Unfortunately It seems that my carburetor, or something within it, has finally gave way (im guessing from the engine hesitation it was causing). I was driving it today and it backfired, then the gas pedal pulled to the floor revving almost full throttle while I was taking off from a complete stop. I was able to get the gas pedal to return back to normal, but I had to play with the throttle at stop lights or else it would stall completely.(a few people thought I wanted to race them Lol) Im pretty sure it was the carburetor or something within it, but if you have any other suggestions or can give a most likely scenario please tell me because I want to be sure. possibly the excellerator pump?
