I managed to get a new 2bbl air cleaner off a later 318 on my trip to the ole bone yard today because I wanted the cold air intake. I had to take that stupid lean burn computer off (that was a pain), and I was wondering how I could block off that gaping hole(s) in the side? Any tips?

Go get a strip of sheet metal from the scrap bin at your local heating company... (if it's small enough, they might let you have it for free...)

You can then weld, rivit, etc the metal on and block the opening off...

if you have a buddy at said sheet metal shop... he can wire brush the paint off, and spot weld the metal on the cleaner, then you can paint after wards...
