I lashed the valves on my CompCams 252S cam (factory settings 0.010/0.012) to 0.010 and 0.015. The idle is nice, but now I have a high speed miss. It feels like a spark plug is grounding out. This only happens under load and heavy acceleration. I just want to confirm whether it is rrelated to the valve lashing or not. bwhitejr |

I would look elsewhere for this problem — I think if it were lash-related, it would be more uniform across all cylinders. If it feels like an ignition fault, it probably is! |

If it wasn't there before you adjusted the valves, it is most likely related to what you did. Make sure you didn't knock a plug wire loose. Possibly a tight valve. |
