I have a 1971 Scamp which came with the regular steel wheels. I just bought a set of Rally wheels for the car. My question is what size tire did they use on these rally wheels. These Rally wheels are about three inches wider than the steel wheels. The tires on the steel wheels are 195/R75/14. Also has anyone had centers re-chromed verses buying new centers? Just wondering price wise. Ping

The original rims sound like 14 x 4.5

Do you have the small bolt pattern (SBP) or large (LBP)?

It also sounds like the rallys you got are 14x7 if it's 3" wider.....

You can go with either a 205/70 14 or 215/70 14 tire.

For a 235/60 14, check for clearance.
