Hey folks, Elaine Foster (Big Mama) and I are planning the 2008/2009 SSRN banquet (East Siders) for late Jan or early Feb. Of course, anyone from anywhere is welcome to come! It looks like we will rent a lodge in the hills just above Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, TN (within 1-2 miles). Elaine has done some nice searching. The place will have a large common room, game room w/pool table, most likely a hot tub and/or pool in the unit or nearby. We are trying to get a head count so we can decide on how big of a place we need to reserve. We will make this affordable (comparable to previous years) and the place should be nicer. Hmm, that might be close enough to me. Jan. 24 is my b-day, so maybe I can get a nice present. It sure would be great to meet some slant six people. Like madmax/6 said, im gonna have to start playing the lottery. Put me+3 down as a maybe. Wouldn't it be kinda cold at that time though? |
