| Post subject: | Redoing the air cleaner |
I want to put a super six decal on my air cleaner, but I want it to look good so I don't have to spend another 20 bucks on the decal. Any tips on how to strip/paint it? Its pretty rusty with paint coming off, but not too bad, probably about normal. Also, that heated air thing on the air cleaner, I hooked that up a few days ago, and it doesn't work. Is there a certain way to hook it up? When I suck on the vac line, it operates, but not when I hook it up to the temp sensor and carb. Also, I don't have that metal piece that wraps around the exhaust manifold, is that ok? I have the metal tube. |

I can sell you a real Super Six air cleaner and the metal flange that goes around the exhaust pipe. |

Ive got 2 318 air cleaners, one for my air cond conversion, and one on my car. How much you lookin for? Do you have pics? |
