| Post subject: | Windshield washer |
My squeeze bulb windshield washer doesn't work. When I press down it back flows into the washer tank. The lines are clear. Is there a back flow prevention valve? Where is it? I would assume at the tank but can't find it. I hate the thought of having to change to electric. Cannot find a parts source. |

I've never seen this type of washer. But if the hoses are the size of aquarium air line hoses, I'd think you could get a airline check valve and put it in somewhere to fix things up. Get the rubber flapper kind........ |

yes, the check valve is hanging open. i wouldnt give mine up either. an inline check valve could probably be retrofitted to the inlet line, but ensure your nozzles are clear. |
