A friend has a 74 valiant, It has a aftermarket GM style breather and a NEW PVC valve. Oil is working its way through the breather down the tube and into the air filter.
Could it be the breather ? It is smaller the the one on my slant.

Is your friend using the stock Chrysler valve cover, or maybe one of those cheap Chinese chrome ones off eBay?

Generally, if the PCV system is hooked up and working correctly, and there's still oil getting into the air cleaner, it means the engine's whipped and in need of a rebuild.

I think what Dan is meaning by this first question is, does it have its baffle under the PCV valve. The chinese chromies don't have them.

Chinese valve cover or not, the engine must be in need of a rebuild.

I am using one with no problem and running 0-30W Mobil One synthetic! :D
