Post subject:  Howards Cams - experience?
Hi Folks,

Has anyone had dealings with Howards Cams in Oshkosh, WI? A friend recommended them and I've never heard of them.

I'm looking to get some cams reground to custom specs. Was going to go with Oregon Cams, and may still do that, but curious about Howards.

Is Howard's still in bidness?

They were huge in the 60's before the mega companies like crane took over.

I had real good luck with the V8 stuff I ran from them. They just kinda disapeared as Slantzilla says. I used to street race alot and had a killer sleeper 330 olds engine with a big Howard in it. :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:
Needless to say more than 1 Mustang fell.
