How can I tell cast iron from steel? I'm looking at unsorted scrap castings. I need scrap steel for welding in a project, rather than CI. tkeith@mindspring.com |

I typed in "metal identification" as a search in google.com and came up with familiar means to identify different metals, such as appearance, grinding test, chip test and so on. quarles3@earthlink.net |
