That's kinda cool, but kinda creepy at the same time.

The Neighbor with the Subaru there left his window open. Not good in Portland where it rains more than not...

A friend had one of those Protege's once. I will have to say it lasted forever for the lack of maintenance it received!

Glad I live just out of range for their cameras! "Big brother" (I'd rather not be related to him...) already sees too much for my taste.

That's my step-Dad's Mazda in front of the house. He pretty much treats it like $#!+, but it goes pretty darn well for being a SOHC 1.8. I tuned it up once as it was running really badly. Suffice to say that there were spark plug wells plugged with crap and arcing down the side of the spark plugs as the gaps had grown about .045". .090" is a big gap to jump on something that has a distributor.

I went to zillow.com to show my parents...the street view of their house showed my dad out front emptying the garbage! I thought it was cool, he didn't.

Didn't those have the 1.8 Ford in them? Or was the engine of Mazda design?

Either way.... I mention this because my neighbor here in the apartments has one that he is always doing something to, and I see them all the time in my uncle's shop. I s'pose they aren't any better/worse than the sister car under the Ford marque though...

Mazda engine. The car has been very good considering the lack of maintenance. If it had been taken care of it would be a great little car.

The guys taking those street level photos really get around. I live out in the country in East Texas on an oil...not paved....county road. One shot of our house shows me driving my van into the driveway.
