Now the trans dipstick for my '64 Valiant A904 cable shift trans has gone AWOL. ARRRRGGGhHHH!. How long should the trans dipstick be, from the "stop" to the full line? I've found a few sticks in salvage yards(not in cars), but can't identify the right one. There seems to be some variation in tube length between the various A-body year/trans combinations. Can I pull a tube and stick from a later 904, or 727, and expect them to read correctly? dobie79423@yahoo.com |
