64 bench seat:

How do you take the back portion off the bottom portion

This is related to my upholstery post; haven't got seat out, but don't remember seeing how the back is attached to the bottom when I had it out before.

Hog ring pliers.

I dont own them....I just make do.......but I really recommend them.

Do you have sewing machine access?

I've always made due too, but that was with the occasional 1 or 2 of them....

So I was going to buy some hog ring pliers at home depot (used for fencing)..

And a friend of mine thinks 1 of her machines can handle the sewing.........

Some hog ring removal and 2 bolts per side............

(needle-nose vise grips for hog ring removal :wink: )
