Post subject:  Car dies - gas is boiling in carb.

My 63' Valiant has been dying on me when it warms up, so I replaced the condensor, but that hasn't solved it. It keeps doing it, but now i've noticed that when it happens the gas is boiling in the carburetor. I remember that boiling gas is symptomatic of a common problem...but I can't remember what is. Any suggestions?

Look into the possibility of vapor lock. Excessive heat in the fuel lines or the carb can make the gas boil into vapor, stopping delivery to the carb. It won't start until things cool back down, and occasionally, not even then.
Back-track your fuel lines and check how close they are mounted to the block or exhaust, take steps to correct if needed. You might also try a very thick carb base gasket. It will act as an insulator for the carb.
