Post subject:  I'm confused

Hi Doc,

I am a bit confused on the racing schedule. The one at the Killer Bee Website shows Sonoma, CA Infineon Raceway, "Wine Country Mopars" on June 6, 2009. You show it on June 20 & 21. Which one is correct?

Thanks for clearing this up for me. :D

Their web site shows Mopar Thunder to be Sept. 4th thru the 6th. I will be calling the track to make sure that is the correct dates and make sure we get on the schedule. Norm and Parker

Greg,

Knoxville will almost certainly start time runs Friday around 5 pm, race starting around 8 pm. Saturday time runs start around 3-4 pm and racing starts around 6-7 pm. I'll try to get more specifics, but that will be close.

Sunday I don't think they run. Last time a bunch of us went for pancakes and parted ways round noon. Always good to hang with the Bruners too, and some people did stay longer on Sunday with them.

Okay, that sounds good.. I'll probably be able to make it in for the Time runs on friday and I am planning to hit an awesome regional show on the way back on sunday,

Thanks,

Greg

Awesome!

Charlie Schmid is planning to come. All the GA boyz are in, a bunch from TN. This could be bigger than last year!! There's also a car show nearby on Sat morning if people want (Meril told me).

May not have a car to drive (depends if I can fix the trans in my tow truck, in time), but am planning on being there. I will be delivering parts, and picking up other parts.

Where can I get some more info on the N. Wilksboro race? My car is finally together and I will be painting it within in the next week and I really want to make this race and meet some of you guys.

Post subject:  N. Wilkesboro details

Wilkesboro race will be Saturday July 11 at Wilkesboro Raceway Park. Gates open around 2 PM, and time runs start around 3-4 PM.

We will have our usual All Slant 6 car show at Empire Chrysler starting at 9 AM on hwy 421 on your right as you go west leaving town.

There is usually a discounted hotel deal at one of those near Empire Chrysler, but I can't remember the name.

Camping is also allowed at the track.

Entry fee will be $30-40, and maybe Ron Hamby can clarify.

Looking forward to it!

Lou
