Is it possible to convert a hydraulic lifter motor to a solid lifters. I know i'll need the solid lifter rocker shaft and rockers but I'm wondering about the push rod lengths are they the same. I noticed that the hyraulic camshaft has a groove in the one journal and the solid lifter cam doesn't. any suggestions? craig_o_connor88@hotmail.com |

(ball ends on both ends, not a cup & ball like the mechanical push rods) Also remember that the lobe profile of a mechanical cam has a softer lash "take-up / lead-in" ramp vs a more aggressive Hyd. ramp profile.
