Post subject:  Recommended timing starting point for new cam

As many know I am planning to change out the big cam and install a smaller one. I also have a MSD timing computer which lets me easily play with the timing curve. I am looking for some ideas of where I should start with the new cam. I'd like to reprogram the computer just prior to pull the motor/cam, so that its close during cam break in.
I am currently running 23* initial and 29* (all in at 3000rpm) total with no vacuum pod hooked up. (240/240@50 110 installed 2* advanced)

The new cam is a 222/222@50 110 installed 2* advanced.
Any ideas? Leave it for now?
