Post subject:  Eileen with new Cam

I've done some other tuning and it looks like this cam (222@50) is going to be the cat meow. :D I've had 3-4 exhaust systems on this car and none I have liked. They where all to load and droney. This new cam sound very nice and still smokes the tires with the full exhaust. The old cam (240@50) would only burn the tires if I opened the cutout. I haven't really put it through it's paces yet, but its looking good. Had the torque converter stall change at the same time and I looks like FTI got it right. And get this NO CHARGE. I can see not charging if THEY mis the mark, but they didn't and I told them so. So for them not to charge me to change the stall when it was me that change the motor is VERY COOL.
This should likely be in a different thread, but things are looking up in the "making me happy" department.

If it's gold and it looks like it's the first time someone used a video camera, then yes it is.

What did they say the stall point is of the new torque converter?
Did they use V8 stall numbers or 6 cylinder?

I don't know if the numbers are V8 orI6. The first convertor was a 3200 stall and probably stalled at 3000. This converter is a 2500 and probably stalls at 2500. One of the thins I like about the two converters I got from FTI is that they drive pretty nice on the street. I can move around parking lots and slow intown driving without pushing the RPMs up to much.
