if i put a 170+904 in my 73 two door scamp with a 2.94 rear end, would that be too much car for the engine. i understand it would lose pretty much all its pep, and the car would have a lot less torque, but my 225 is thoroughly whipped, and i found a 170 online. the 170, according to the post, is a 69 model. |

It will be fine assuming the 170 is in good shape,those 2.94 gears will help. |
