So this topic is not so new but where can I get a high volume oil pump or something that will handle 6500 rpm. I wont go that high but you never know.

A high-volume oil pump isn't just unnecessary, it's actually a poorer choice for high-RPM usage, for it greatly increases the load on the pump drive (cam worm/pump pinion).

Send one to Doug and have him do his "magic" blueprinting. Wish I had...

The best choice for a performance SL6 is to use a "medium volume" (7/8 thick impeller) and rework it for more efficency, then add a case hardened drive gear.
I have done many of these "blueprinted" oil pumps over the years so drop me a PM if you need more info.

So why is the m66hv not good. I thought the high pressure pump was the bad one, not the high volume one?

The "HV" pump is he 1 inch impeller...
Seeing that the factory pump has a 5/8 thick impeller, the 1 inch is way overkill and more expensive.

I have a motor in my shop right now with the MP high volume pump on it. Less than 300 miles on the motor and the pump gear is trashed.

I would "assume" (based on what I may or may not know) that too heavy an oil would possibly perhaps have some impact on that? :?

Possibly. This motor had 10-30 in it.
