I have a 1978 225 /6 in my 1935 Dodge. I moved the alternator to the manifold side, but the little upright tube on the timing tab hits my fan belt. What is the purpose of that tube, and can I remove it? Thanks, John |

Yep you can remove it, you're using a timing light to do your timing, the factory used a probe that inserted into the tube....quick work with a dremel tool would excise the offending part.-D.Idiot |
