| Post subject: | Holley 1945 Hose Routing |
Did my valve lash, unhooked a lot of hoses to get the valve cover off, and now I'm trying to reconnect everything. I took some photos so you could see what hoses are currently going where. ![]() I wanted to make sure I have the choke diaphragm hose routed correctly. And which hole does the air cleaner hose hook into? There are a few connections on my air cleaner. ![]() I have no idea where 6 and 7 are supposed to go. ![]() 6 is currently connected to this guy. I have no idea what this guy is. Nor what hose goes to 8. Anything else look out of place? Thanks in (vacuum) advance! |

Dan has posted all the carb info as stickies at the beginning of this page. So check those out for the hose assignments. I have a 74 Swinger but when I rebuilt the engine, I got rid of most of the pollution control equipment since we do not have emissions testing where I live. In fact, I got rid of the 1945 and opted for a 1920 EconoMaster which provides much better power and mileage. The engine has gone through quite a transformation and is much better than stock. It has been a little over 2 years now since the rebuild and 56,000 miles. Click on the red link below my name and take a look at my setup. Click on the pictures to enlarge them in screen show mode. Nice shot of your car. Mine will be getting paint this year! |
