I been working my butt off trying to get the darn holley 1920 carb running and soo far i got it running, albiet a higher idle, the only issue is that whenever i slow down to a complete stop it will diesel and stall on me immediately unless i have my foot on the throttle a little bit.

I really want to get this fixed before college starts.

In THIS THREAD you said:

Can you tell us what a partial rebuild includes? Did you get new gaskets?

That made it run better but now we had an issue of a certain vaccuum forcing the car to stall, if i plug the vaccuum it will not stall at all and drive normally,

Do you mean a vacuum hose? What does it go to or where is the leak? A vacuum leak could easily cause your problem.

Its a vacuum for the economizer, whenever it lifts the economizer the car will immediately diesel and stall, my neighbor suggested that i close out the economizer vacuum hole so it wont engage/disengage the economizer, we made a gasket that covers the vaccuum passage in the carb but he wants me to get a thicker one, if i keep the economizer pressed against the power valve lever it runs fine.

Your carb is plugged up with something. Take the Economizer body off and clean it very carefully with spray. You may have to soak it in carb cleaner.
