: Who is running roller rockers? What brand? How : much? Where did you get them?? I bought a set from Mark Goodman. He made them and the ratio is 1.5-1. I think I have had them for over 4 years. The price was $450 and I have had no problems with them. Doug; The set you bought, is there no way of oiling the valve stem tip other than building a special valve cover? damuel@kalama.com |

The roller tip rocker arm set I have is drilled to the tip but there is a .125 air gap between the hole's exit and the roller. What I saw is that the oil would come out the hole then run back down the rocker arm body. It took some revs before the oil would splash onto the roller tip & stem. Not wanting to burn anything up, I brazed a tube into the valve cover and drilled a row of .025 holes, one over each tip, everything gets lots of oil now! DD

I have been running the rocker arm speltist that you can buy from the Cox bros. I have had them on since Clay City of last year. They seem to oil fine and stay set. Checked them twice since last year no problem. Ps the car picked up over a tenth in the 1/8 and this is on a stock bottem end engine with 76000 miles on it. Thanks Ron rpracing@catt.com |

Thanks Ron Hey Ron, Thanks for the tips. That's a chunk of track improvement for just a rocker swap. Did you get the 1.6 or the 1.5 ratio? Cheers, Lou |
