this is an off-topic question.my suzuki sidekick's soft top is dying,and i want to replace it with a tan one.however the only production tan top i can find is about $400.so i was thinking about getting a 130 buck white top off ebay and dyeing it.
any one here ever had any luck doing this to one of their convertibles?
any tips?tricks?hints?ideas?

Not that I have had experience with this but I would think that any weather-proofing- sealer/protective coat etc., on a new convertible top would prevent dying..or at least make it difficult.
