Post subject:  converter stall speed talk

hey guys i had a 1700 stall tci ( didnt realize stock was 1800 whoops) then i ordered a cheap acc boss hog converter 2800-3200stall. huge differance but true brake stall was about 2000. i'm trading it in for a 3600-4200 stall version. hopefully i will be true stall about 2700. i know for accuarte stall i should contact some bigger name companies and tell them my specs and have one custom made but there bigger money. i paid 300 for the 2800-3200 and the 3600-4200 is 486.

i had no problems with the 2800-3200 other than i wasnt in the true stall that i wanted. works really good. looks like they get cores and take them apart and rework the insides. still good converter for the price. i would recommend if you dont want to spend big money. if going in a six assume that your true stall will be about 800rpm less than the lowest advertised speed.
