Fellow Slanters,

A couple of us are getting a group purchase together for the Aussiespeed Hurricane intakes (4bbl or 2bbl). These should end up being $300-360 shipped. I don't think the blower manifolds are ready, but we can inquire about those.

A few of you voiced your interest earlier, and I think the list was:

Lou
mopardemon71
66aCuda
NewLancerMan
wvenable

Who else is in?? Please speak up in the next several days so we can get these on the way.

Thanks!

Lou

I'm interested in a 2-bbl version if they are on the low end of that scale...

Do we need to put down a deposit?
Do we have to pay up front or when they come in?
What is your best guesstimate of when the buyer will be receiving these?

I seen them sell a few of these on eBay a while back for $250.00 USD (+125.00 shipping anywhere in the states). So with shipping being combined for a larger order I don't see ~$300.00 each being out of the question.
Would they all get shipped over here together and then seperated and shipped out individually? (Probably the cheapest way)

Only if they have the blower intake ready. I'm ready for forced induction.

The lowest prices were when the exch rate was $0.65 for an Oz dollar, and now it's $0.80 or so. We will not get down to $300 unless things change or they give us a great group deal.

There are inj/N2O bungs cast in, yes.

I can cover a couple of people up front if necessary, otherwise deposits ior full pay up front would be nice. mopardemon71 can comment on timing, but I would guess a month.

Intake list:

demon (4bbl)
Lou (4bbl)
wvenable (4bbl)
Menko (4bbl)
raPoM (4bbl)
Daniel (2bbl)
66aCuda (4bbl??)

Thanks!

Lou

Cool.
I have a couple other deals pending for some Six Pack parts for my Super Bee so those will come first if I can get them.
If they fall through I'll get one of these manifolds!
I'll let you guys know in the next couple of days!

Do these have the update for extra room needed to get the washers on easier like Doc suggested?

Will they have the plenum dividers like Doc suggested?

Did they make any other changes?

Hi guys,

I have been talking with Cody regarding the organization of the group buy, I hope to have a confirmed 'shipped' per-piece price shortly, so this should provide those sitting on the fence with accurate information by which they can make their decision. I will post this information here once I have it confirmed.

Those who have not seen the new 'revision' casting of the SL6 Hurricane 2 & 4-barrel intakes can find them here : [url]http://www.pentastarparts.com.au/sunshop/index.php?l=search_list&s[title]=Y&s[short_desc]=Y&s[full_desc]=Y&s[sku]=Y&s[match]=all&s[cid]=0&s[search]=slant+hurricane[/url]

Thanks
Ray

Hi folks,

Ok, we have some figures for your consideration. The group buy requirements are as follows:

~ Minimum Order : 5 x Intake Manifolds (2 or 4-barrel)
~ DHL Airfreighted To Nominated US Destination : This delegate will then ship to the end-user.
~ $350(USD)ea
~ All payments to be forwarded to Pentastar Parts & Restorations directly per order. Accepted payment methods include : Direct Credit Card (Mastercard/Visa) or PayPal (Add 3%)

Expected international shipping time is 7-10 days. These intakes are in stock & ready to ship immediately, so the quicker we have them paid for the sooner we can get them to you. This offer will only last whilst the current exchange is around the $0.80c exchange rate.

~ Direct Credit Card payments can be made by calling : 011 61 2 9608 8888
~ Please forward PayPal payments to : sales@pentastarparts.com.au

If you would like to contact me via email : sales@pentastarparts.com.au

Thanks
Ray

Hi Ray,

Thanks for doing this group buy, and thanks for the updated info.

Two questions:

1) Does the $350 include local shipping in the US, or are we responsible for that through the "delegate?"

2) Some of us are fond of the 3.6"+ bore Permaseal (Aussie) head gaskets. Can you get those and include say 10-15 of them in the same box? I seem to remember the cost of those as about $25AU with a bulk order. Of course I understand if this is too much trouble.

Thanks again,

Lou
