Post subject:  slant to saginaw 4-speed?

Well, I have a Dart Sport (originally a 318/manual floor shift, I got it as a shell), a good saginaw 4-speed, and a /6 just ripe for some mods. Car is rough & has lots of patina, thinking gasser-style low buck special. Can't find any local cheap 4-speed Mopars for parts, so I'm thinking in true hot rodder fashion "use what's around."

Any adapters or bellhousings for a /6 to saginaw? 318 to saginaw?

OR any central Texas Moparites have a good Mopar 4-speed?

Thanks! ~Scott

Wow... one mention of a GM part, 36 views, not one response.

That's ok, I think I just found an 833. :D

The problem here, I don't think there was an adaptor made to do that.
All the adaptors were made to put the Mopar 833 in place of Saginaws and Borg Warners... not the other way around.

Use a SL6 3-speed bellhousing and "adapt" it yourself.
Do you have a flywheel and clutch assembly?
