I just bought the stock hose at NAPA for an 80's air cleaner. Both of our local Auto Parts Houses here in Black Diamond carry them for all the years. I believe they are 3" and they come with the clamps built in. |

Most of the hoses are a few hours away if they don't have them in the store. They happened to have mine on hand that I used in the pictures on the link below. |

I went to 3 Napas and none of them had any kind of intake hoses, and the one closest to my house called the makers, and they said they stopped making them. I guess I am going to put my brain in Macgyver mode. Dave |

I found a 3" flexible aluminum duct at Lowes . It just crams inside the opening , but that is good. After I give it a couple of coatings of some black undercoating spray, I think it will be good.I decided to run it right beside the radiator ,and getting fresh air from the grill. When I get it complete, and remember where my camera is , I will post a pic. Dave, The brand our Autoparts carry is the "Motor Mite" brand air intake hose. I had them look up one for an 80 Dynasty which I believe is the air cleaner base that I am running, (bought it off eBay) but a 77 Aspen will do too. Part number they gave me today was #96080 but need to double check. They went to a square end on some. I am not sure if I still have the old yellow and green box or not. Rock Auto has them also....... Standard Motor Products Part# DH11 16" long with built in clamps $8.98 or Airtex Part# 1F1021 16" long with built in clamps $9.54 Anyway they are commonly available. Hope this helps! |

Thanks, I need to get another hot air duct .I have been taking the carb on and off, and I am planning on putting on some remfex gaskets when they come in , and I think that should take care of any possible vacuum links tht I could have left. Dave |
