| Post subject: | linkage stuff |
I started on my car by fixing the linkage. Whoever worked on it before flipped the 2nd/3rd arm inside out and the 1st/rev. arm wasn't even in...why, i will never know, cause it definately didn't work that way(the arms were slamming into each other which didnt let me out of 1st and 3rd). but, the grommets are all either missing or completely worn down, and only one of the bushings is still there. i checked autozone and o'reilys and they had no clue of whr to find them and theyre the only shops around. w/out them the 1st/rev arm keeps slipping still keeping me in 1st. any suggestions? failed_ethics@yahoo.com |

At this point it would be best to take some measurments and have someone with a lathe machine you some spacers to fill the hole. (Or post the measurments to see if anyone has some good used ones they can spair) DD |
