Does anybody know if you can get different gear ratios for an NP435 trans. I dont really use the "granny" gear. The wide gear spreads are a pain in the...!! Did Dodge use any other manual tranny for the 4WD applications. (like 833?) I guess its a tough trans but kind of overkill with a slant. Maybe more power would help. Time and money man! It's a be-och. |

There is a variant of the NP435 known as the NP445. It's supposed to have a synchronized 4.56 first gear rather than the non-syncro 6.69 or whatever the 435 has. |
