Grassroots Motorsports and Hot Rod both have articles this month on the $2002 Challenge, and a slant six Valiant appears in both articles. The challenge included an autocross, drags, and "concours". Does anyone know this guy. I bet he has e-mail and internet. His car sounds pretty cool and he's a 64-66 a-body 4 speed guy. Quote:

I am thinking seriously about putting a car together for it for maybe the year after next. I think an early A-body Slant would have a pretty good chance, especially if you spruced it up with a cheap paint job (oddly, 1/3 of the competition is the show'n'shine). Lou |

I met this guy, last weekend at Don Garlits Mopar Show. Have some pictures that need to be developed. He is planning on entering the 2003 Challange.
