I want to add head rests to my Dart when I restore the interior. At first, I was considering adding the head rests to the factory 1963 seat, but had a second thought of just recovering a later model seat with the head rests.

Any thoughts on which seats would be interchangeable between A-bodies?

I asked the same thing a while back and was told the '67-76 bench seats will work if you use the early seat tracks on them.

In my '80 F-body, I have bucket seats that were originally from a '75 Valiant Brougham. All I did was swap the "seat tracks" from an M-body onto the A-body buckets. The seat tracks lined up perfectly onto the A-body seats.
The seats then bolted right in.

So, it seems to me that you could use front seats, bucket or bench, from an F-body or M-body in your Dart, with a seat track swap being in order. I'm not positive though, as I know there are differences between early A-bodies and later model A-bodies.

Or, I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to fab up some custom seat tracks, for just a little dough.
