so i have a 225/6 which had a no spark problem which i fixed but in doing so i removed the distributor to replace the points. now the engine fires but is not firing correctly. it almost seems as if the engine is firing on the wrong part of the compression. also turning the distributor causes no change. a walkthrough on how to correctly place a distributor and what position the 1st piston should be at (i'm guessing Top dead center) would be very helpful. thanks -Darryle |

REED that link was all the help i needed i still need to do a little fine tuning and repalce the intake/exhaust gasket to fix a vacuum leak but the engine started right up. thanks! -Darryle |
