I installed my Specclutch diaphragm clutch today and have a question.When I tightened down the clutch cover bolts ,the release fingers pulled in towards the end of the crankshaft to where they were on the same plane as the flywheel which means that when the clutch is depressed the fingers will actually go forward to where they are turning inwards towards the crankshaft. I have never messed with a diaphraghm clutch before but was expecting the fingers to pull in somwhat as the clutch was tightened but not quite this much.Before it is asked ,yes,the clutch disk is installed correctly.
Is this normal?Thanks in advance.

As the original SPEC clutch user here, I should have an answer for you. But, I don't recall seeing or not seeing what you are.

Give it a try, and see if it works.
