I emailed Howard back and told him he was a "Tease".

Told him to show up at Clay City.

That was Walt Edwards in the dragster, he runs 5:50ish. Jason had a little over 3 bulbs on him so that puts him right around 7.0. :D

Must not be quick enough to post the ET on the video.
I know Slantzilla doesn't want to hear about the past, but 15+ years ago Howard Davis told me he was going to have the quickest NA slant car.
I guess they aren't any quicker than our 1998 combination we run now or we would hear about it. If Davis' don't show up at Clay City with what they have spent on their car it proves my point.

Ah yes,... Those good old rivalries from when folks were pushing the limits to one up each other.

Hey Mark,... Maybe YOU should call Howard and tell him he's just plain skeered if he don't show up at Clay City.

I can give you Barry Harrison's number too.

Seriously though. I have tried repeatedly to get several folks to show back up at Clay City for some "Big Dog" racing, but so far Mark is the only one to show up.

Maybe now that I'm gone they will all show up! (Ain't that right, Cookie? )

Mark, why would I not want to hear about the past? I have always given you guys props for having a bad-ass and gorgeous car.

I have also wondered why more people have not gone the 5 speed route. I'm guessing that alone is worth 1/2 second.

If you look close, you'll see 7.02 on the bottom of the windshield in the burnout box, that still comes out to 11.0s in the 1/4... That's AWESOME!!!
