I picked up a 1987 slant six with trans.My question is what are the plugs on it for?I know the first plug from left is the reverse/neutral switch.What is the plug at the rear of pan for?http://i658.photobucket.com/albums/uu31 ... -10004.jpg |

That's the torque converter lockup wire. |

Thanks.On my 1982 the lockup is all pressure,no wire.So if I send voltage to that wire lockup will engage?How much voltage?I looked through the sticky pdf on the trans and did not see it. |

+12v to this wire ought to lock the torque converter. |
