I have one of the extra-thick "header" gaskets, think it's a Mr. Gasket #321. This is the 12-port gasket that goes between the manifolds and the head. I think I remember reading that this gasket does a better job of sealing than the thin regular gaskets -- true? I also think I remember reading that it's a good idea to soak this kind of gasket (semi-hard white composition) in water for a few hours, then install while it's a little soft, which will improve the seal -- true? --DS redbear@vrx.net
