| Post subject: | Brake Line Kit |
I find complete brake line kits for 63-66 Valiants, but not suprisingly, none for the 62 and earlier models. How much difference is there in the way the steel lines mount up? The wheel base is the same at 106" so I'm wondering if one of the 63+ kits might be a good starting point, or do I just need to bend up my own. |

I'm thinking it shouldn't be too hard to adapt a '63-'66 line kit to a '62, but the '62 wheelbase is actually 106½", while the '63-'66 is 106". It'd suck to have the main line not work for want of half an inch of length! You may want to look into Cunifer instead. |

Well, you learn something new every day! I had no idea the wheelbase was different. I'll have to crawl under the car now and see what's up. |
