Vacuum secondaries. The secondary throttle plates only open when the engine is "ready" for them so-to-speak.

yes she made it in ,best et 11.40@115mph and 1.5760ft. the bad news she fryed #1 piston and cracked cyl head #1 between the valves,i was doing fine at 7lbs of boost but tryed 15lbs should have waited. everything is new now, block 0.080 over, new head has new stainless valves, copper head gasket and o-ringed block, thanks charlie,2 450 cfm mech sec carbs and at last a aem air fuel gauge so i can get a handle on air fuel ratio down the track.can`t waite until june. |
