Hello,

Well I have been fighting the lean burn system on my 86 pickup for quite a bit, and I just got a new distributor with vacuum advance. I put it in today and drove it around (with a full load of wood too) and it seemed a lot better.
The thing is the lockup clutch doesn't engage with this distibutor in, I am not sure what exactly the computer needs to engage the clutch.

Anyone else figured this out, or wired up the lockup clutch with the regular ignition system?

Should be pretty easy to pick out the info you need from this page.

Thanks for the site, I have been to it before trying to find out information on the A518 when the OD went out on my previous truck.

Now I have to crawl under my truck tomorrow and see if all those ports are the same as a 904. Dang snow . . .

Ports should be the same; lockup torque converter connector is near the left rear corner of the trans pan.
