Has anyone here ever run the stromberg ww 2 barrel on the slant six with any luck or do I need to keep looking for a carter 2 barrell

Yes, a Stromburg WW from a 273 or 318 can successfully be made to work on a slant-6 2bbl intake. The biggest "gotchya" is the choke hookup.
