Hello, Well I have been fighting the lean burn system on my 86 pickup for quite a bit, and I just got a new distributor with vacuum advance. I put it in today and drove it around (with a full load of wood too) and it seemed a lot better. The thing is the lockup clutch doesn't engage with this distibutor in, I am not sure what exactly the computer needs to engage the clutch. Anyone else figured this out, or wired up the lockup clutch with the regular ignition system? |

Should be pretty easy to pick out the info you need from this page. |

Thanks for the site, I have been to it before trying to find out information on the A518 when the OD went out on my previous truck. Now I have to crawl under my truck tomorrow and see if all those ports are the same as a 904. Dang snow . . . |

Ports should be the same; lockup torque converter connector is near the left rear corner of the trans pan. |
