I have a MP 4120243 cam. Have checked installed cntrline it is now at 101 degrees. Zeroxed sheet that came with cam has 102 installed, this sheet has 3 slants and 4 v6's listed. Engines book and MP catalog 1999, both have 108 installed for same cam. My question, which do I use? Thanks for any help. t110@pennswoods.net |

If you still have the degree wheel out, I would take a look at how well the overlap event centers or "splits" over TDC exhaust at 102 and 108 installed. (108 sounds like the lobe seperation number) If you want low and mid range performance, shoot for at least an even split, if not a few more (2-4 degrees) of intake overlap event prior to TDCE. DD |
