back in 1964 what was the price difference between comparably equiped darts and valiants?

The difference was about $50 for comparably equipped models.

I'm guessing the Dodge? I think plymouth is supposed to be bottom of the line. I was just curious since they are essentially the same car, how much more you would pay for the brand. since this kind of thing still goes on today but over brands that aren't even that closely related. Pontiac Vibe/ Toyota Matrix
