Hey all, Could someone help me decode my fender tag? This is from my 77 Aspen.. Thanks... M43 N21 N37 N95 R11 CTD L31 M21 M26 M31 M38 G15 G52 J52 K2W K3W K9F PF7 V3F U 2 B41 C15 C57 PF7 HXF6 000 B01 295952 E24 D31 NP29 C7B 220849 |

ok.... here we go. now my book only lists some, and not all of it. got the info out of CAR+PARTS MAGAZINE, AMERICAN CAR ID NUMBERS 1970-79 COPYRIGHT 1991. SORRY FOR NOT HAVING ALL OF IT. It's hard to find a breakout chart for fender tag codes later than '74. Be careful applying earlier codes (as you seem to have done) to later cars like yours; the meaning of some things changed over the years. |

^^ You're completely right. I used a few different online decoders and tables to come up with the above, but I recognize it's only for reference purposes, and the codes might be dated. Still nice to see, though. |
