Just curious. I was looking at two sets of front brackets and see that my 1967 stock brackets have a 5/8" bolt...but the 1974 bracket has a 1/2" bolt... When did they decide to change from the beefy bolt/bracket to the smaller one (I assume the bushing changed as well/I hope)?  -D.Idiot |

If you're talking about front spring hangers, you have a late set on your '67 and an early set on your '74. They went to the 5/8" bolt in '73. |

I think it was a parts sourcing thing. When they changed the eye they could use B body bushings and eliminate a part from inventory on the line. |
