Hi Again - Anyone can answer this'n - I am putting back together an older engine ( head gasket went) The lifters are exposed - they are old - should I slap in new ones while its opened up?? Some have said they wont match the cam - but is that really THAT important? Thanks in advance 4 your opinions Boom safehavenhi@yahoo.com |

If the wear pattern on the cam lobes is narrow and on just one edge of each lobe(except at the nose of the lobe) then the cam is OK, and will take new or good old lifters. fglmopar@aol.com |
