I've got an engine I bought for a 67 Valiant and the block is that seafoam green/turquoise color. Saw it on ebay for way too much. Does anyone know of a cheaper rattle can alternative? I checked out some sites that listed mopar engine colors. I could have sworn this color was only listed for 383/440 motors. Is this true or was this an original slant color? |

Seafoam green isn't correct for a '67 or any other year slant-6 engine. See here for engine paint info by year. All needed colours are available in rattle cans. |

Thanks Dan. Basically I'm trying to take the chrome valve cover off and replace it with a stock one. Trying to just paint the cover up to match the block. Looks like it's not the stock slant color but I'd rather have it matching than worry about whats stock or not. I'll probably end up buying a can of this unless someone knows of a cheaper alternative?
