Is the manual steering box for an A-body the same as a F-body?
Most of the f-bodies seem to have power steering.

Yes, the manual steering boxes interchange although the pitman arm may not.

Yes But as josh said The pitman arm poses problems.

Get a Manual box from a van say 73-77 and it' a direct bolt in without a pitman arm hassle.

Check steer and gear:

I came across a '52 Dodge B series "Pilothouse" 1/2 ton
with the Volare subframe installed. It has no steering or
motor. I am not going to purchase this truck, just curious
about an abandoned project and whether the K-frame
is installed correctly. The Volare setup fits very well and
does not appear hacked.
